How we brought Oxford Endovascular into life

What is Oxford Endovascular

Oxford Endovascular Ltd is a spin-out from Oxford University, working to prevent brain haemorrhage by curing brain aneurysms, a condition that affects 1 in 50 persons.

OxiFlow™️ is a novel, next generation flow-diverter, that diverts blood flow away from intracranial aneurysms at risk of rupture. It places more accurately and safely than existing devices, reducing the risk of complications. It conforms better to blood vessels making more patients treatable

Business Plan and Branding Process

Design Tags : Research, Relatable, Calming, Trustworthy

Since this is a business based on research and related to the medical field, the face of the company needed to be calming and trustworthy. In addition, the elements going to be used in the branding needed to be relatable and be able to stand out for the investors to get more attention.

We’ve started the process with brainstorming sessions, design element research, inhouse surveys and sketch on paper. As a result, the logo design started based around the letter “O” since it’s the starting letter of the name and we also came into a conclusion to creatively include the letter “O” inside of an abstract cross section of a blood vessel that carries blood to the brain.

Branding Illustrations

We’ve presented few illustrations to the client before finalizing the logo design to give the client a really good background on how they can use these branding strategy.

The Most Satisfying Part of the Project

The favorite part of the project for our team is the satisfaction of our clients which is extremely important to us. We have worked hard on this project similar to every project we do and left us with a lovely feedback and a recommendation from the CEO Mike Karim.

“Their services were supporting me to create a professional logo design for my medical device company and also to design a web page. During the work the company was very responsive, gave several design options and was creative yet practical. They went the extra mile to resolve support issues around going live on my server and were friendly and established a strong working relationship. The time difference between the UK and Asia was not an issue as they always reacted quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other organisations in need of design services.”
